Spot the difference: one is asleep laying down with his eyes open and one is asleep sitting up with his eyes closed.
The common factor is the fatigue felt after a satisfying first day of pheasant hunting.
As usual, Fergus's nose and ears took the brunt of the damage - excluding the fake 'only to be applied when Mum is looking' limp he acquired due to a miniscule split in his paw pad.
Mikey was a happy camper all weekend; hunting til you drop, birthday lasagne, caesar salad and molten chocolate cake, and an excuse to drink beer and whiskey (if an excuse is ever needed) at any time of day.

.....leaves are like the porridge in the story of the Magic Porridge Pot; the more you eat, the more the porridge the pot produces.
Similarly with leaves; the more you rake, the more they fall.
I'm tired of raking leaves now.
If I ever plant a garden from scratch, it will be filled with non-deciduous trees.
Anyway - thanks for the help Fergus - not........
